[05 Sep 2006|11:01am] i'm so excited for owen/joan of arc thursday! i'm so excited for studying mercilessly today! i have an incredibly pompous asshole for an IH teacher. i say that he watched dead poet's society one too many times and thinks if he contradicts anything you say (whether or not you're making a good point) he'll get you to think some genius and he over articulates every word he reads like he's in the middle of the globe theater and i love love LOVE to prove him wrong. then i think, i wonder if this is how other people think i sound. i am gay

i'm coming back home [04 Sep 2006|11:56am] [ mood | awake ] [ music | joan of arc ] if anyone (which i doubt) is to read this, my life has undergone some big changes so i thought i might renew this lj as a part of it. to catch up: i just started my sophomore year at temple, i got an apartment and just celebrated my birthday. school is already consuming most of my life and will get nothing but harder. i'm already thinking of everything in terms of chemicals which is funny because i spent most of the summer, at any given time, with them in my system. mostly drinking which i have stopped in lieu of books. alternating between oedipus (for IH), o chem, bio, and kafka. i sound mostly like a pretentious asshole which is why i barely wrote in this thing to begin with. i switched my minor from philosophy to public health which means i take this hilarious sex class wed. nights. now that i left the neast and moved to city full of people i'm becoming a recluse. maybe because a lot of people i hung out with this summer are going/went back to school. and i ride my bike a lot. maybe i'll update with more updates or something. feels good to be back! i am gay

I pull out my $260 worth of twenty's and buy a 59 cent biscuit with a twenty. The girl at the register says "You ain't got nothin smalla?"
